Analysis & Nowcasting Verification Impact Lab

Our purpose

The Analysis and Nowcasting Verification Impact Lab (ANVIL) is a specialized operational unit established under the authority of the Warren County Emergency Management Agency (WCEMA). ANVIL functions as a branch of the Emergency Management office and exists to enhance real-time situational awareness, decision support, and preparedness through applied weather analysis, fore and now-casting, and structured training.

Our Accreditation

ANVIL is run by meteorologists Wyatt Crutcher, Nicholas Zrelak, and Addison Summitt, who is an intern with Warren County Emergency Management, along with meteorology students at Western Kentucky University.
