 The DARRT4 Regional/HazMat WMD Team is a regional, multi-jursidictinal team that is located in KyEM's Area 4. The team's primary response area is KyEM's Area 4, but if needed will respond anywhere within the Commonwealth of Kentucky or out of State if deemed necessary by the KyEM Emergency Operations Center.

The team is trained in at all levels of Hazardous Materials Response from Awareness to Technician Level. The team also includes several Chemical Specialists and certified instructors through the Kentucky Emergency Response Commission and OAI Inc.

The team is also trained in Weapons of Mass Destruction response with training certified by the Kentucky Emergency Response Commission, OAI Inc and the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Domestic Preparedness

THE DARRT TEAM IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS. 

If you would like to become a member of the DARRT 4 HazMat team please visit the FILES library folder on the left hand side of the web page to fill out the required forms. Please be sure to return all 6 forms and make sure to use blue ink.  

Please mail or drop of all applications to the Emergency Management office in your county.
